Chocolate Cake
Can also be used for chocolate cupcakes

1 cup self raising flour
3 tbls cocoa powder
1 cup caster sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
90g butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla essence

Preheat oven to 180 degrees (160 fan forced). Grease an 18cm cake tin and then line tin with non stick baking paper.

Sift cocoa and flour into a large mixing bowl. Add remaining ingredients and beat for three minutes with an electric mixer. Pour mixture into prepared cake tin and bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until cake springs back when touched. Allow cake to cool slightly before turning out.

For cupcakes, bake in cupcake liners for 12-16 minutes. It will depend on the size of your liners as to how long they will take, so be sure to keep an eye on them from the 12 minute mark.

What would I use instead of self rising flour? Is it flour with baking powder in it?
